A lifelong artist, I began my formal training in set design, earning a fine arts degree that led to a career in television. While my professional path began there, my foundational passion for drawing guided me toward new disciplines. I transitioned to mural painting, which honed my skills in large-scale composition, before expanding my practice to include restoration, book illustration, and commissioned works.

Today, I focus on watercolor and oil painting, with a particular emphasis on portraiture, still lifes, and plein air painting. As a dedicated art educator for many years, I also have the privilege of sharing my knowledge with the next generation of high school artists.

Whether painting wildlife or capturing landscapes en plein air, my work is driven by a deep appreciation for the natural world. For me, art is a practice of heightened awareness—a way to see and share the profound beauty that surrounds us.
